Hanil Life Support services (a division of Hanil General Trading & Contracting Company WLL) and through its sister companies Sara International Catering and Kuwait Lebanese Catering Company has been offering Life Support Services (LSS) for the past 6 years, which include meals, transportation and housing. We are KOC approved, and have the HACCP certification.

Founded in 2002, Hanil, having been launched from relatively austere beginnings, embarked on a mission to become the provider of choice for life support services for the land oil & gas industry, as well as defense, government & construction.

CAMPS / HOUSING:
Hanil is well versed in labor camp operations, serving in excess of 8,000 meals per day at different site camps across Kuwait. Key to the comfort and well-being of your employees, Hanil offers and supports a robust selection of housing options. Whether it is triage, temporary, mobile or permanent housing, we can provide safe, clean and temperature controlled housing.

CATERING / FOOD SUPPLY:
Hanil offers a robust solution for all of your catering requirements. Whether it is in a remote zone, on-shore oil rig, and land camp or anywhere else workers need a satisfying meal, we are there. In some of our sites, it is more feasible to erect a full kitchen, in others we just prepare the meals in our central kitchen and deliver the meals to the client site.

TRANSPORTATION:
Hanil owns more than 60 vehicles, out of this 22 are 2016 modern busses all with full air conditioning. All our busses have comprehensive insurance, and we only hire drivers with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as bus drivers. We are capable of offering more specialized transport, at a larger or smaller scale, whatever the customer needs, we will do it.

FACILITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES:
with Hanil even if you have your own existing camp, we have options for you. We are prepared to take over the site, or just offer a limited scope which is tailor made to your needs.

MANAGEMENT:
Hanil’s standard protocol is to ensure that there is always a strong "management presence” at every jobsite. Members of our management team are present to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

ON-SITE SUPPORT / LOGISTICS:
Hanil is a fully integrated provider of life support services LSS. Our chefs and nutritionists, logisticians and procurement staff, cleaning and security staff ensure that everything on site goes according to your expectations, and in some cases excide them. We will always listen to you in order to improve our services.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE:
Hanil makes sure there is always first aid material on site, and a 24-hour driver to take persons to hospitals in case of injury. Our site personal is also familiar with all the related emergency services throughout the country of Kuwait.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME:
At Hanil we understand the importance of maintaining the morale of personnel - especially when they are away from their loved ones. We have a great deal of expertise in the layout and design of galley and living quarters at urban and local sites, or remote and oil & gas job sites.

SAFETY SERVICES:
Hanil will work and meet any safety codes/requirements which our clients need to adhere to. We will execute such safety standards and prepare regular reports to our clients and/or there client.

In 2005, Hanil, recognizing a growing need for providers of high quality life support services to all corporations operating in Kuwait, organized and launched Hanil Life Support Division. Through this forward thinking initiative we now have the privilege to serve the needs of all of the industry leaders in the oil and gas production market segment, as well as a broadening cross section of land-based customers, such as defense and government contracts and construction companies.

Throughout all of our continued success, we remain consistent to the truths and principles established by our CEO:

Some of the operations we had in the past are:

- On-site full LSS for more than eight on-shore rigs for a Burgan oil drilling company a major drilling company. We had up to six rigs at the same time the total number of persons was 140 and visiting personnel was more than 30 persons per day, which meant about 700 meals need to be prepared each day. We managed all sites for more than 4 years which was the full term of the contract. At each rig, other services like full housekeeping and maintenance was provided.

- On-site LSS for Gulf National Drilling Company a major Omani Oil Drilling company operating in Kuwait. We managed 3 rigs which hosed more than 90 persons and regular visitors made the meal count per day excide 400 meals. Her also full housekeeping and maintenance was provided.

- Provision of Ramadan Iftar meals for two Kuwaiti newspapers, with a total of 600 meals per day.

- For the past 3 years, more than 120 corporate private banquet events were done by us serving food to a total of 8,000 persons. As to the currently running LSS projects or only catering projects:

- A 30-person lunch for top management for Explomo, Pte Ltd a Singaporean company which has a contract in Kuwait. We look for this contract to be expanded to include all company staff as they arrive, which will reach approximately 270 persons.

- A four building labor camp located south of Kuwait city in the Mahbula area which caters to three large Korean contracting companies (SungChang, Seobon, Parko) with major contracting work in Kuwait. This site is housing 1,150 persons and is in full confirmation with the Kuwait labor law about Employee Housing and KNPC, rather strict, employee housing requirements. It confirms to the highest standards of hygiene, food quality & safety and building safety which means all the necessary upgrades for fire and disaster situations. In this camp we provide all LSS services which are catering, transportation and housing which includes full janitorial services, housekeeping and pest control. We have a fully equipped on-site kitchen and 15 busses model 2016 each carrying 56 persons which are dedicated for this site. The number of staff at this site is more than 45 persons including the camp boss.

- One building camp catering to GS Company located in Khaitan housing 700 persons with full service and transportation.

- One building camp catering to GS Company located in Mangaf housing 500 persons with full service and transportation.

- We have long term contracts with two 5-star hotels and KASCO (the Kuwait airport company responsible for the provision of airline meals) these contracts are for the provision of readymade pastries and special sweets. Those clients are currently adding new products which we have been especially successful in preparing.
